About the ingredients:

Psyllium Husk PowderHelps to form a jelly-like mass which helps to expel stools with more ease so it’s commonly considered as a bulk-forming herbal laxative. It’s said that Psyllium Husk can soothe the lining of intestinal walls and help to clear the toxins and metals from the colon whilst regulating bowel function, which makes it a very popular choice among people who suffer from IBS, ulcerative colitis or Crohn’s disease.
Flaxseed PowderProvides a bulking effect to stools whilst soothing and easing any inflammation in the digestive tract and increasing the production of bile. Contains high amounts of anti-inflammatory Omega 3 fatty acids which help to protect the cells within our bodies. It is believed that Flaxseed can increase the overall energy through the balancing of the bowel function whilst relieving toxic burden in colon and liver.
Sugar Beet FibreHas been proven to aid in increase of faecal bulk by being able to absorb water from the large intestine and increase bacterial mass throught the process of fermentation. Sugar Beet Fibre is commonly used by people who are looking to improve or maintain an optimal bowel function.
Fenugreek PowderIs said to have hormone-stimulating and digestion-soothing properties due to it’s high amount of fibre which can aid in softening the stool. It is believed that Fenugreek can help to lower the amount of cholesterol produced by the liver as well as the level of blood sugars by increasing their excretion by urine. Fenugreek is especially popular among people who suffer from indigestion, stomach acidity and bloating.
Apple Pectin PowderIs considered as a gentle form of fibre which acts like a bulking and laxative agent which helps to optimize and cleanse the bowels. Pectin is believed to help in lowering of blood cholesterol levels and heavy metals by binding and expelling them out of the body.
Rhubarb extract Is commonly believed to reduce toxic bacteria, tone intestinal linings and improve appetite. It’s considered as a stomach, liver and gallbladder toner as well as a cleansing laxative which doesn’t cause painful cramping.
Prune Juice Fruit extractIs considered as a mild laxative which can help in drawing fluid into the intestines and helping the passage of waste out of the body. Prunes contain high levels of antioxidants and dietary fibre and are traditionally known for their contribution to the maintenance of a healthy digestion and alleviation of constipation.
Broccoli extractIs known for its bile-stimulating, anti-viral and antibacterial action as well as a rich source of carbohydrates, including dietary fibre. It can help to support the digestive system, bowel regularity and stable blood sugar levels. Broccoli contains vit A, B, C, K, as well as folate, magnesium, calcium, sulphur and diindolylmethane.
Carrot powderIs believed to help to strengthen the immune system and protect the body against free radical damage. Carrots are a rich source of dietary fibre, antioxidants, minerals, essential enzymes and vitamins, including vitamin B1, vitamin B2, vitamin B6, vitamin C, vitamin K, biotin, lignin, folate, potassium and thiamine.
Fig Fruit extractIs considered as laxative food due to it’s combination of antioxidants with pectin, lignin and ficin which could help to bulk and soften stools. Figs contain high amounts of flavoniods, polyphenols, calcium, fibre, copper, manganese, magnesium, potassium and vit K.
Fennel Seed powderTraditional anti-inflammatory herb, often used as a digestive stimulant which relieves nausea and improves appetite. Fennel Seed is said to relieve gas, colic, cramps distention and flatulence by relaxing smooth intestinal muscles.
